Qualify for a concession:

You must be a resident of NSW with a valid concession card.

The energy account at Brighte must be in the name of the concession cardholder

The supply address must be the domestic primary place of residence

you must be a customer of the retailer
Eligible concession cards:
-
Pensioner Concession Card issued by Centrelink or Department of Veterans' Affairs
-
Centrelink Health Care Card
-
Department of Veterans' Affairs Gold Card (for recipients of War Widow or War Widower, Totally and Permanently Incapacitated rate or Extreme Disablement Adjustment rate pensions).
Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA)
Eligible residential energy customers who are experiencing difficulty in paying their electricity bill may be eligible to apply for an energy voucher.

Family Energy Rebate
The Family Energy Rebate helps eligible families receiving the Federal Government’s ‘Family Tax Benefit A or Family Tax Benefit B’ with their energy bills.

Low Income Household
The Low-Income Household Rebate helps eligible low-income NSW households with their energy bills. It is paid once each financial year.
Eligible customers will receive up to a total of $285.00 (incl. GST) per year or upto 70.08c (excl GST) per day.

Medical Energy Rebate
The Medical Energy Rebate applies to those customer who aren’t able to self-regulate body temperature when exposed to extremes of environmental temperatures (hot or cold).
You may receive a rebate of up to a total of $285.00 (incl. GST) per year.

Senior Energy Rebate
The Senior energy rebate is for independent retirees on a valid concession card. If eligible you may receive up to$200 per household per financial year.

Change in Circumstance
You must notify Brighte as soon as possible of any changes in your circumstances that would affect a pending application or continued eligibility for a concession, grant or rebate.
